Usually has to do with the video acceleration settings. This Microsoft article explains more: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/909554/en-us If Windows Media Player solutions do not help, you can also check your screen resolution (perhaps less than a notch) and a new set of acceleration. Click properties right click an empty part of desktop then. In the settings tab you can move the slider screen resolution to the left to decrease resolution. Also in the settings tab (towards the bottom right) is an advanced button. Click on it and another dialog box opens with several more tabs. Click the Troubleshooting tab and you should see another slider for hardware acceleration. Try adjusting that. Wwbgd
